High School
ACAP stands for the Accounting Careers Awareness Program. The primary objective of ACAP is to increase the number of high school students from under represented ethnic groups that attend college and major in accounting or finance. Through ACAP’s efforts, students receive educational enrichment experiences and practical help needed for college preparation and a career in accounting or finance. LEARN MORE

College-Based Program
To prepare college students for a professional career through engagement, mentoring, personal development, exposure to the work place through internships, scholarships through our scholarship program and public speaking/presentation skills through case competitions. These initiatives also aim at identifying and nurturing exceptional leaders in higher institutions. LEARN MORE

Corporate Partners
Partnership packages with the NABA Eastern Region gives you access to our members in the area with opportunities for business development, recruiting, employee networking and diversity development. Packages are developed to meet your goals through interactive discussions with chapter leadership. LEARN MORE

Career Development
NABA is an organization dedicated to improving the financial education among African Americans in the Eastern Region communities, by providing basic financial tools that allow individuals to establish realistic goals and reach them. Our annual NABA National Convention provides a forum for joining NABA's membership with the corporate community, academicians, and other individuals interested in promoting the goals and objectives of NABA. We are also expanding our outreach through the following:

Community Service 
Holding true to NABA's motto of "Lifting As We Climb," community service is a vital component of the NABA Eastern Region's success. Our chapter's objective is: (1) to provide outreach to the community through grassroots efforts and partnering with other community based organizations; (2) to increase attendance and membership participation by both professionals and students at community service events; and (3) to work with NABA sponsors to assist in providing volunteer opportunities for members. Our current volunteer opportunities include:

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
NABA volunteers annually coordinate with the IRS to provide Income Tax preparation assistance to local community members of need. LEARN MORE

Career Opportunities
The NABA Eastern Region posts job opportunities to our members by direct e-mail. Postings are contributed by our corporate partners or by our members who hear of available listings at their employers. NABA membership is a premier method to learn of organizations focused on minority individuals. Professional Development
To keep our members up to date professionally and enhance their technical skills. Through technical sessions such as CPE's, scholarship program, educational discounts and panels and interactive sessions we support our members' skills development. READ MORE
